This authentic 1920s flapper dress is an excellent example of the fashion trends of the Jazz Age. Flapper dresses of this era were known for their loose, straight silhouettes and the use of sheer and lightweight fabrics like chiffon or silk. she is in great condition for her age with some beads coming loose in a few areas. The dress is made of a sheer, lightweight material I’m assuming silk. The intricate beading and embroidery pattern is a hallmark of 1920s fashion, often used to create geometric designs or floral motifs. The dress features short cold shoulder sleeves that snap so you can wear it open, and a loose fit. A very elegant piece.
Please note this dress is not in perfect condition. It is old and has issues but is absolutely wearable in the condition it is in.
My mannequin is a size 2 /4 so this would definitely be best on a small silhouette.
