Vintage amethyst and marcasite sterling silver brooch pin. Large geometric openwork design with baguette cut genuine amethyst gemstones set vertically. The marcasite stones are neatly prong set with milgrain detail in between. Nice solid weighty feel with excellent craftsmanship. The amethyst stones have a gorgeous lavender purple color. Signed “Sterling” with hallmark on back. Acquired from the estate of a fine jewelry collector. 2.4” length and 0.75” width. Excellent vintage condition.
