This is an original, vintage, Charles Underwood American alligator pencil cup. It is in used condition but still a very nice piece. Has some scuffs and dents on the inside bottom of cup from the points of pens and pencils (as should be expected). The outter alligator hide appears to be in good condition with no markings that do not belong. Please see all pictures as they are of actual item for sale.
I included a screen-shot from the Charles Underwood website to show what one of these desk top accents currently sells for in new condition. The price is $355! This item appears to be an older, discontinued design with a seam at each corner which adds to its already uniqueness.
