1st edition. Very Rare find! San Francisco: Jo Mora, Jr., 1933 first press. Tan linen cloth hardcover with bindings by screw format resembling a ship's log: illustrated with drawings, maps,and caricatures by the artist/author (Mora). Some age toning and staining to cover and tearing of linen at top left corner (see pics), but not affecting contents; the logs are unused, and ready for entries and pages are remarkably in very good condition…especially given 89 years of age.
This book was gifted to a passenger on Grace Steamship Cruise Line 80+ years ago.
Grace Line provided passenger service between New York and Seattle via the Panama Canal. At least that’s the history of the book as we know it. A must have for any pirate enthusiast!
