Up for sale is the highly sought-after 2009 Thinkway Toys Interactive Buzz Lightyear. This is the rare blinking-eye variant from the original Interactive Buddies set.
Functionality:
Electronics: Fully tested and working! Buzz speaks his original phrases with clear audio.
IR Sensor: The infrared sensor on the chest/belt is intact, designed to interact with the companion Woody figure.
Eyelids: Please note that while this is the motorized blinking version, the eyelids are currently not moving (stuck in the open position). This is a common mechanical issue with the 2009 gears, but the internal motor still attempts to engage.
This Buzz has been loved and displayed. He shows some surface scuff marks on the helmet, chest plate, and limbs consistent with age (please see high-res photos for exact placement). There are no cracks in the plastic or broken parts.
This is a fantastic 'holy grail' piece for a Toy Story collector looking for the rare animatronic-eye sculpt. Sold as-is."
