This rare and collectible 1812 Holy Bible by Thomas Scott is a must-have for any collector of religious texts. The beautiful leather binding and antique feel of the book make it a true treasure to behold.
I've included a picture of a letter to my husband's great great great grandfather (Cpt. William G. Mitchell, 70th Indiana Regiment, Union Army) that was found in the Bible to demonstrate provenance, the letter is not included. There is foxing and pencil writing on one of the face pages, 200 years can be hard on a book when it's in daily use.
The author, Scott, is well-known for his contributions to the field of religion and spirituality. The book is printed in English and is in excellent shape, ready to be displayed.
