B/W 1500 series relays provide versatile and reliable liquid level control without the use of floats. The 1500-D relay can be used as a pump up control on supply pumps to fill elevated tanks. It can also be used as a high level or low level signal control. The 1500-D relay has one normally open contact and one normally closed contact. B/W 1500 series control relays can only be used to sense conductive liquids. They are not suitable for oil, gasoline, animal fats, and other similar materials. B/W 1500 relays should not be used with flammable liquids. Liquid levels are established by mounting or suspending electrodes in the tank or vessel. Electrodes are sold separately. Users should consult Ametek B/W Controls documentation for detailed application information prior to purchasing or installing this item.
